What AI model does the background remover use?

We use u2net and u2net_human_seg — open-source deep-learning models from the rembg library. No data is sent to third-party AI services.

What formats are supported?

JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, and AVIF. The output is always a transparent PNG.

Select the 'High Quality' or 'High Quality Portrait' preset in the quality selector for more refined edge detection.
